CAB Tax Inspector Rob Whelan goes undercover to infiltrate the nightclub complex of crime boss Dougie Burke to get the evidence he needs to put him away for good.

Rob’s mission takes a setback however, when he falls for Mr B’s book-keeper Susan Treacy, who is also an aspiring singer/songwriter.

Can he save the romance and yet find a way to convict Mr B without prosecuting Susan as well? Mr B sends his thugs to persuade Rob otherwise.

Decco, Simon, Britney and Amanda who work for Mr B and perform in the nightclub with Susan have their own humorous romantic squabbles in contrast to the sinister exploits of Mr B.

Tongue firmly in cheek

SCAM has a satirical finger on the pulse of dodgy Irish economics and a tongue firmly in cheek.
