Brilliant community garda Maeve is a big loss to the area

CLONDALKIN community garda Maeve McBride was honored for her service in the community at a presentation in Kingswood.

McBride, was stationed in Clondalkin, for 19 years, covered the Kingswood area for 15 years, and has been transferred to Naas Garda Station.

“She was a brilliant community garda in Kingswood, and will be a big loss to our community. We wanted to show her the respect she deserves,” said Foroige Kingswood.

Maeve said: “I would like to thank the members of the Kingswood Residents Association for always making me feel very welcome and it was my privilege to serve over the last 15 years as one of their community gardai.”
