Bus routes curtailed in Tallaght and Ballyfermot tonight due to ongoing anti-social bahaviour
Two separate bus routes in Tallaght and Ballyfermot have been curtailed tonight due to ongoing anti-social behaviour in the areas.
The 27 bus will not be serving Jobstown for the remainder of Sunday night due to anti-social behaviour.
Dublin Bus said the bus will be terminating at Brookfield, and apologised to customers.

It’s the latest curtailment of the route, and comes just two days after the Dublin Bus/Luas Community Forum was held.
The National Bus and Rail Union (NBRU) have called for some bus services to West Tallaght to be pulled, following almost 30 incidents of antisocial behaviour since July.
Dublin Bus Management reiterated at the meeting that they were keen to keep the service to West Tallaght, but that the responsibility was on community gardai and local representatives.
Dublin Bus management stated that the damage to bus windows were forcing the buses in Ringsend to be pulled from service during the week, and said that a third of antisocial incidents since January occurred on routes in Tallaght.
The meeting was attended by reps from Dublin Bus, the NBRU, SIPTU, Transdev and community gardai.
The lack of attendance from the community was criticised by the NBRU, who called for an emergency meeting this coming week to discuss the issue again.
Meanwhile, the bus operator also had to pull the 79/79a route from Cherry Orchard tonight due to anti-social behaviour in the area.

“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
