
Busy times for Tallaght Martial Arts
Tallaght Martial Arts have a very busy last few weeks of international and national competition.
Following on from last week success at the Italian World Cup in Jesolo Italy.
Stephen Jones was on top of his game in the Master -94kg and +94 kg points fighting sections winning gold in both sections after some tough competition.
He also won a silver in the masters kick light -94kg section.
Ann Marie O’Grady won sliver In the Master -55kg and -65kg points fighting sections Jodie Browne was fighting in the ladies team event alongside Tina Baloh and Alexandre Georgieva where they won the Team event.
Jodie put in a solid performance in the +70kg points fighting section to win a bronze medal.
Tallaght Martial Arts were in action at the Bushido Martial Arts open in Leixlip Amenities centre on Sunday.
Eoin Finn put in a solid performance in there different categories, Eoin won gold in light contact advance the 11 to 13 years, and bronze in point’s fighting and kick light.
Ellen McCaughey put in an outstanding performance to win three gold medals in the advance points fighting +65kg, light contact -65kg and Kick light -65kg and sliver in the -65kg points fighting advance section.
Anna White fighting in the advance 14 to 16 years old points fighting section won a well earned sliver medal.
Callum O’Connor won gold in the -69kg kick light section after totally dominating the bout.
Isabel Golding was on top of her game in the 8 to 10 years advance points fighting and light contact section winning two Gold medals.
Liam Feeney won sliver medal in the 8-10 years points fighting section.
Conor Mc Clelland in the under 7 years points fighting and light contact won two well earned sliver medals.
Mikhail Serbaev fighting in the 14 to 16 years beginners points fighting and light contact section won two bronze medals.
Cian Colvin won a bronze medal in the senior -57kg advance points fighting section.
Jack Dunleavy fighting in the senior +80kg points fighting section won a bronze medal.
Lisa McCabe won two sliver medals in the senior -65kg and +65kg points fighting sections.
