
CAB seize high performance vehicles in Ballyfermot raid

UP TO ten high performance sports vehicles were seized this morning in Ballyfermot by the Criminal Assets Bureau.
The raid was carried out as part of an on-going investigation by CAB into a suspected organised crime gang based in West Dublin.
Detective gardai and Revenue Customs Bureau officers, attached to CAB, carried out a customs control visit at a motor dealership in the Killeen Road area, Fox and Geese, Dublin 10.
Up to ten high value sports utility vehicles have been detained by CAB on suspicion of VRT related offences.
The vehicles include eight high value Range Rovers and two BMW X5’s.
Conservatively those vehicles are worth in excess of €70,000 each.
