Campaigners welcome works and investment in Watergate Park

People Before Profit TD Paul Murphy has welcomed the commencement of works installing new lights in Watergate Park, and the commitment to install picnic benches and bins.

A campaign for investment in the park has grown this year, following the horrifying attack on a young girl in the park in January. Now the campaign say they are seeing ‘real steps forward’ as new lights, and other investment is being put into the park.
