Capturing the light and beauty of Lough Owel

PALMERSTOWN Camera Club took advantage of the beautiful late evening light during the beginning of their annual outings to Lough Owel in Mullingar, in Westmeath recently.

Club Pro Denis Brazil said: “We took advantage of the beautiful summer evenings we have been having of late. The plan was to get some scenery images and to catch the sunset.”

The club does not get together in their usual meeting room of Palmerstown parish hall during the summer months but returns there in September.

New members with an interest in photography and a desire to further their skills are encouraged to join them on one of their outings. The club meets every Wednesday between 7pm and 7.30pm outside the Ulster Bank Palmerstown.
