Clondalkin office stationary company receive Guaranteed Irish award

CLONDALKIN office stationary and gift supplies company Tara Slevin Group were recognised for their business achievements courtesy of a Guaranteed Irish award.

Guaranteed Irish congratulated Tara Slevin Group who are April’s 2023 Brand Activation Champion.

Eddie Slevin set up the Slevin Group in 1982 initially supplying office stationary supplies.

An Irish family company, Eddie has help from his long-time business collaborator and brother Frank Slevin.

The pair were the former owners of Bray Wanderers football club for many years, winning the FAI Cup in 1990 versus Cork City 3-0 in front of 33,000 fans.

They enjoyed some great times with Bray but after the recession in 2008, they found a buyer for the club and moved on.

With their commercial interests in the stationary supplies company, by the late 1980s, they diversified the business to include branded promotional products, Tara diaries and calendars.

The Slevin Group are one of the leading suppliers in Ireland of promotional products, corporate gifts, branded clothing and workwear, premium incentives, executive gifts, business gifts and conference giveaways.

Today, Frank (81) is still passionately involved in athletics and was the man to organise the first ever women’s Dublin City Marathon in 1983.

Frank’s involvement with athletics began in 1978 when he became one of the founder members of the Business Houses Athletic Association, more commonly known as the BHAA, which organises the Dublin City Marathon.

He is still involved in the organising of athletics in Ireland and helping the preparations for an Irish Life Dublin Race Series 2023, Corkagh Park 5 mile, on Sunday, June 18.
