Confectionery thief case postponed for report
A MAN who stole €250 worth of confectionery had his case put back for two years for a probation report.
Aidan Gavin, aged 46, with an address at Eugene Street, Dublin 8, had pleaded guilty to stealing confectionery worth €250 from Londis, Fonthill Retail Park, Clondalkin, on January 18, 2018.
He also pleaded guilty to stealing a curtain from Bow Wow pet shop, Rosse Court, Lucan, on July 10, 2017.
Gavin was before Judge David McHugh for a probation report.
Gavin’s solicitor, Annarine McAllister, said it was a good report. Judge McHugh said it was a complex report.
He remanded Gavin on continuing bail to a date in June 2020 for a final report.
