Coronavirus: 1837 new cases confirmed

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of *1837 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

According to information provided through the Department of Health’s Twitter account, 1837 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 are being reported as of midnight, Saturday, August 7.

The Department also confirmed that as of 8am today 208 people are in hospital, 31 of whom are in ICU.
