Council to take legal action against tenants
HOUSING rent arrears owed to South Dublin County Council is at €8.2m, with the local authority taking legal action against 645 accounts, with nearly 100 of which at risk of repossession.
There are currently 9,701 tenancies for council owned properties around South Dublin County, with 3,390 of these in rent arrears greater than two-weeks.
