County Council accused of ‘burying its head in the sand’

SOUTH Dublin County Council has been accused of “burying its head in the sand” in relation to an agreement with local residents about an emergency entrance to the National Basketball Arena.

The issue came to a head last month when a small group of residents picketed at the Tymon Farm entrance to the arena, which is meant to be used only by emergency vehicles.
