Dave rewarded for successful business
TALLAGHT entrepreneur Dave McGeady landed the keys to a brand new taxed and insured car after becoming a Nissan Generation Next ambassador.
Dave (36) whose business Wyldsson is located at the Tallaght Business Centre, fended off competition from over 1,000 applicants to secure one of eleven places up for grabs on the prestigious Nissan ambassador programme.
His success follows a three-week public vote where over 100,000 votes were cast online for 20 finalists.
Each ambassador was given the choice of a brand new, taxed and insured car from Nissan’s award-winning fleet to drive for a year and Dave selected the Nissan Qashqai as the car best suited to helping him to take his business to the next level.
Dave set up Wyldsson to develop clean and healthy food snack and breakfast products and employs four people.
No additives, artificial flavourings or preservatives are used in the products, which have become popular for elite athletes including Premier League football clubs, rugby players, the LA Lakers and golfers.
“I am delighted to become a Nissan Generation Next ambassador,” said Dave.
“The car will make a massive difference to my business, helping me to get to more events like TriAthy, Ironman Dublin, Wellfest and Crossfit games.”
“I would like to thank everyone, especially the local community in Tallaght, who voted for me and I’m really looking forward to developing my business with Nissan’s support,” he added.
“Dave is an exceptional entrepreneur who shares Nissan’s commitment to excellence and innovation,” said Stephen O’Sullivan, Dealer Principal, Windsor Belgard Nissan.
