Delays on the Tallaght Bypass due to stop/go system at Belgard Road

There are traffic delays on the Tallaght Bypass this afternoon in both directions due to a stop/go system in place at the junction with the Belgard Road.

Traffic lights are out of action at the junction and both carriageways on the Bypass are down to one lane.

Those coming from the Belgard Road, at the Plaza Hotel, are also experiencing delays, as are those travelling down the Old Bawn Road.

The advice is to avoid the junction if possible.
