Derelict houses acquired compulsorily by council

FOUR derelict houses in St Maelruan’s Park in Tallaght which have become “a source of annoyance in the community” have been compulsorily acquired by South Dublin County Council.

The acquisition of the houses, which are adjacent to Mountain Park, under the Derelict Sites Act was approved by An Bord Pleanála (ABP) last month.
