Applicant looks to increase number of units

Applicant Broadcrest Ltd lodged an application with South Dublin County Council this month, seeking permission for the reconfiguration of and alterations to the permitted third floor of the housing block, to provide two additional housing units, making a total of eight units on that floor.

Permission is also being sought for the provision of a new floor, to be the fourth floor of the residential block, to provide six additional residential units, all of which are to be two-bedroom apartments.

Overall, the applicant is looking for permission to increase the number of residential units in Block B from 30 to 38, with plans for the gross floor area of Apartment Block B to increase from 3,767 sq m to 4,515 sq m.

Provision for ten additional car parking spaces also formed part of the application.

A decision on the application is due from South Dublin County Council by September 27.
