Dog owners urged to clean up after their pets

A SINGLE fine for dog-fouling was handed out by South Dublin County Council in 2022, with an advocacy group for people with sight loss calling on dog owners to clean up after their pets.

Dog-fouling on pathways is a major issue for people who are blind or vision impaired, with a National Council for the Blind of Ireland (NCBI) survey showing it was the third most common obstacle encountered.
