Dog show is huge success in Ballyfermot
The inaugural Ballyfermot Dog Show took place in the Ballyfermot Community Civic Centre Park.
The event, organised by Dublin City Council’s Ballyfermot Community and Public Domain teams, was a huge success with 60 breeds competing and over two hundred people in attendance.

With a total of eleven categories, the competition was very tight and the judges were spoilt for choice with some remarkable canines on show.
There was a constant parade of fantastic entrants to choose from and with lovely food and drink provided courtesy of guest judge Councillor Vincent Jackson, the large crowd was entertained throughout by extremely well behaved pooches proudly presented by owners both young and not so young.
Dublin City Council hope to build on this year’s success and make the dog show an annual Ballyfermot event.
