
Driver hospitalised after car collides with pole in Tallaght
One person was taken to hospital overnight after the car they were driving collided with a pole in Tallaght.
The incident occurred on Fourtunestown Lane, with Dublin Fire Brigade units from Tallaght and Dolphin’s Barn attending the scene.

Firefighters removed one person from the car and they were taken to Tallaght Hospital.
The condition of the rescued person is not known at this time.

Earlier in the evening emergency services in Tallaght dealt with a road traffic collision on Cookstown Way (Belgard Sq).
One fire engine and one ambulance from Tallaght attended the scene, where traffic diversions were in place for a period of time.
No injuries were reported.
