
Drugs worth an estimated €4m seized in Clondalkin and Ballyfermot
DRUGS worth an estimated street value of €4m were seized during two searches in the Clondalkin and Ballyfermot areas on Friday.
Gardai from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau carried out two searches in the Clondalkin and Ballyfermot areas on Friday evening, September 27.
According to a Garda statement, during the course of the searches heroin and cocaine (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of €4m was seized.
Two men have been arrested and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 – Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
“Gardai from the National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau carried out two searches in the Clondalkin and Ballyfermot areas of Dublin on Friday, September 27 2019”, a Garda statement said.
“During the course of the searches heroin and cocaine (subject to analysis) was seized with an estimated street value of €4m.”
