Earlier this month Dublin Bus management, drivers and unions agreed, after months of anti social behaviour in the Tallaght West area, to measures if the problem continued.

As per the agreement, both the 77A and 65B will now take a different route for a period of time this evening.

According to the agreement, “Should an incident warranting withdrawal of service from Killinarden – buses will be directed to operate via Whitestown Way, Tallaght Stadium, N81 and back on route.”

The operator has said the curtailment will last for at least an hour.

In a statement they said: “We wish to advise customers that due to anti-social behavior buses will not serve Killinarden from 1915hrs-2015hrs Sept. 25th.

“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. “
