Eagle-eyed Gardai in Tallaght estate arrest man and retrieve drugs
Eagle-eyed Gardai arrested a man and retrieved a quantity of drugs yesterday in Kingswood.
The man was spotted acting suspiciously by officers on the Ballymount Road around 11:30am on Friday morning.
Gardai approached the individual and eventually apprehended him on wasteland in the area.
A quantity of drugs were also recovered, and in follow-up searches a further quantity of drugs were found.
In a statement a Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai are investigating an incident which occurred on the Ballymount Road, Tallaght on the 25th August at 2017 at approximately 11.30am.
“A man in his 20s was arrested and a quantity of drugs were recovered in a wasteland area.
“Follow up searches of the wasteland area located another quantity of controlled drugs.”
