
Employee stabbed during armed robbery at Tallaght Adventure World

The owner of Tallaght Adventure World, Dermot Richardson has urged anyone with any information on an armed robbery at the play centre this evening to contact Tallaght Garda Station.
Speaking to the Echo, Cllr Richardson confirmed that two males armed with a pole and a knife entered the premises at 5:55pm, while children were still playing in the centre.
He said one staff member received serious injuries to his hand when one of the raiders attacked him with a knife.
The staff member is currently awaiting surgery in hospital.
Clllr Richardson described the robbery of a children’s pay centre as “the lowest of the low”, with the raid leaving staff traumatised and children upset.
