Environmental Assessment goes to public consultation

A STRATEGIC Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Appropriate Assessment (AA) of the National Broadband Plan has gone to public consultation, with members of the public encouraged to make a submission.

The Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment is undertaking the public consultation, which, part of the SEA and AA, will investigate how environmental considerations are integrated in to the preparation of plans.

 

Members of the public are invited to read the SEA and AA and make suggestions or recommendations.

A High Speed Broadband Map is also available to view and it identifies all of the locations targeted for State intervention of the National Broadband Plan.
