A TD has claimed that some homeless people on South Dublin County Council’s housing list are being housed in “tenement-style” emergency accommodation in the city centre.
People Before Profit TD Paul Murphy made the claim after discovering 1,452 people were registered homeless with South Dublin County Council as of November, including 653 children.
