Family members protest outside nursing home in fear of closure
FAMILY members of Lucan Lodge Nursing Home are holding protests outside the facility in an effort to keep the facility from closing down within three months, presenting an uncertain future for over 70 elderly residents.
The bombshell news was relayed to family members on May 16, leaving them fearful for the lives of their loved ones, most of whom are extremely vulnerable and have dementia.
