Fight against abuse needs to be led by the survivors

Survivors of gender-based violence should lead the way in the fight against abuse of women, according to a Tallaght advocate who spoke at the United Nations in New York.

On Friday, March 20, the Irish Consortium on Gender-Based Violence (ICGBV) presented their research at a UN event showing how survivors’ lived experience can inform policy makers and make a difference in the fight against gender-based violence.
