TALLAGHT Town Football Club’s plans for a new all-weather pitch in their grounds in Carolan Park, Kiltipper, have been refused planning permission by South Dublin County Council.
The local authority cited concerns about the impact the proposed flood-lit pitch could have on local wildlife, including bats, and that it could be “intrusive” in the overall landscape of the area.
