Free health fair event in Fettercairn
THE Annual Tallaght Health Fair is back and will pitch tent in the Fettercairn Youth and Community Centre on Tuesday, September 11.
The free event will boast a vibrant, relevant and tailored selection of stands, which include information on health, services within the community, health testing, complementary therapies, mini-makeovers and more.
There will also be a number of free health talks on strokes and how to recognise the signs and symptoms (10.30am), Are you Winter Ready (11.15am) and Cholesterol (12.15pm).
These talks will be delivered by clinicians and health care professionals from Tallaght University Hospital.
The health fair is supported by Tallaght Travellers Development Project, South Dublin County Council, Tallaght University Hospital, the HSE, South Dublin County Partnership, Women Together Network Tallaght, Health Ireland and the Fettercairn Health Project.
