Further anti-social behaviour forces Dublin Bus to curtail Clondalkin bus route
Dublin Bus have again been forced to curtail a Clondalkin bus route as anti-social behaviour in the area continues to impact on the vital community service.
This afternoon, the 40 bus has been re-routed because of incidents on the Fonthill Road, resulting in the bus not serving the Neilstown Road.
In a statement, the operator said: “We wish to advise customers that due to anti-social behaviour on Fonthill Rd, that route 40 will be unable to serve Neilstown Rd until after 13:55.
“Route 40 will operate along the Coldcut Rd to/from the junction of Fonthill Rd.
“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
There has not yet been an update from the operator to say normal service has resumed.
The curtailment of the route follows similar action on Friday.
