
Further crashes add to long delays on the N4 and in Lucan village
Those using the N4 this morning experienced high levels of traffic due to several crashes on one of the main entry points to the city, and the delays look set to continue, with another crash at the M50 interchange.
N4: Collision on the N4 inbound before the M50 blocking the lane for the M50 NB on-ramp and the left lane of the lane for the N4 inbound

The AA and Live Drive are reporting the latest incident has occurred inbound before the M50 and is blocking both the M50 on-ramp lane and the left lane of the N4.

Up to 18km tailbacks were reported earlier this morning, with thousands of motorists queueing from Liffey Valley (Junction 2) to Kilcock (Junction 8)
The resulting traffic problems impacted heavily on the surrounding areas, including Lucan village, where many reported traffic coming to a standstill.
