Garda witness appeal following single vehicle road traffic collision
GARDAI are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious single vehicle road traffic collision, which occurred last night on the R121 Clonsilla to Lucan Road.
According to a Garda statement issued this afternoon, gardai are investigating a serious single vehicle road traffic collision on the R121 Clonsilla to Lucan Road at approximately 10.45pm on Tuesday, June 15.
The collision involved a motorcycle, which was travelling southbound, Clonsilla towards Lucan, just past Westmanstown.
A Garda spokesperson said: “The motorcyclist, a male, has been taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
“Investigating gardai are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident which occurred at 10.45pm, to come forward.
“They are also appealing to anyone with video footage (including dash cam) from the location to make it available to them.”
