Gardai struggling to cope with work due to manpower
THE country’s busiest policing district, DMR West, which includes Clondalkin, Ballyfermot, and Lucan, is investigating more than 30,000 criminal cases, according to data seen by the Sunday Independent.
According to the publication, gardai stationed in the area are struggling to cope with the work due to a shortage of manpower which has reached “crisis point”.
