Gardai at scene of located suspect device in Tallaght estate

GARDAI are currently at the scene of a located suspect device in the Cushlawn area of Tallaght.  

A Garda spokesman confirmed to Echo.ie, that officers arrived on the scene at around 5.30pm and that the army bomb disposal team has been requested.

The Garda spokesman said: “Gardai are at the scene of a located suspect device in the Cushlawn area of Tallaght.

“A safety cordon has been put in place at present.”

The spokesman was unable to confirm any further details at this time.
