
Gardai confirm suspicious approach made to Saggart pupil

Gardaí at Rathcoole station have confirmed to the Echo that they are investigating an “alleged suspicious approach to a youth on Wednesday in Saggart”.
No injuries were sustained and no arrests made, and investigations are continuing.
The school the pupil attends issued a letter to parents on Thursday, which read:
“At approximately 3:50pm on 13th April a child from our school was on their way home from an after school activity was approached by two men and told to get into their car. The child refused and ran away, and was chased by one of the men. This matter is now being investigated by the police.”
