Gardai investigating alleged assault in Tymon Park

GARDAI are investigating an alleged assault that occurred in Tymon Park on Saturday evening in which a teenager was rushed to hospital.
Emergency services attended the scene on Tymon Lane in the park and a young teenage male was taken to Tallaght University Hospital.

Gardaí taped off the scene at the entrance to the basketball arena last night and investigations are still ongoing.
The entrance to the arena is still taped off this morning.
A statement released to The Echo by Gardai this morning said: “Gardaí in Tallaght are investigating an assault that occurred Saturday afternoon, 2nd January 2021 in Tymon Lane, Tallaght at approximately 6.45pm.
“One male youth, aged in his teens, was seriously injured and taken to University Hospital Tallaght in a serious condition.
“Investigations are ongoing”.
