Gardai recover €3 million in drugs and guns in Tallaght

The Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, along with members of the Tallaght drugs Unit have recovered drugs and firearms with an estimated street value of €3 million.
The find came after the Gradai intercepted and searched a vehicle on the Greenhills Road on Wednesday evening.
Four firearms and associated ammunitions were also discovered during the search of the vehicle.
The recovered firearms include an AK 47 assault rifle and ammunition, two .22 rifles and ammunition, and a loaded pump action shotgun along with silencers and telescope sights.
Two males, aged 41 and 34 have been arrested and are currently detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 2 of The Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
