Gardai ‘refuse’ to allow truck ‘skipping’ along M50 to continue

A skip-truck driver is set to be prosecuted after the vehicle they were driving was stopped for carrying a dangerous and unsecured load.

The truck was observed carrying at least 10 unsecured skips on the capital’s busiest road, the M50.

Officers stopped the vehicle and, according to a Garda spokesperson, a prosecution will now follow.

A message via the official Garda Twitter said: “We ‘Refuse’ to allow this, skipping along the M50 with unsecure load. Prosecution to follow.”
