
Gardai seek public’s help in finding missing 66-year-old male

Gardai are seeking the public’s help in finding 66-year-old Des O’Brien, who has been reported missing from his Kilmainham home since last Monday, October 8.
According to a Garda statement: “Mr O’Brien was last seen at approximately 3.45pm on Monday [October 8] when he left his home and was seen later on CCTV on Emmet Road, Dublin 8.”
Responding to The Echo today, October 15, a Garda spokesperson confirmed that Mr O’Brien is still reported as missing.
He is described as being 5"2' in height, with grey hair, clean shaven and wearing a dark bomber jacket with a fur type collar, a dark red jumper, blue jeans and blue canvas runners with white soles.
