Gardai seeking public’s help after reported shooting in Tallaght

Echo Reporter

GARDAI at Tallaght are calling for the public’s help in gathering information on a reported shooting in Tallaght last night.

Nobody was injured in the reported shooting and no property damaged. However, investigating officers did find a number of items after combing the area, which, currently being examined, could be consistent with the discharging of a weapon.

The Echo also understands that people living in the area heard what they believed to be gun fire.

Gardai maintained a presence at the location today and anybody who witnessed anything suspicious in the area last night is encouraged to call Tallaght Garda Station on 6666000.
