Gardai seize 12 vehicles at single checkpoint as crackdown continues

Gardai seized 12 vehicles at one checkpoint earlier today as the crackdown on motorists driving with no tax or no insurance continues.

Last month we brought you the news that Gardai had seized six vehicles during an operation in Clondalkin.

This time the major checkpoint was in Blanchardstown and Gardai said they seized 12 vehicles in a short space of time, mainly for having no tax or insurance.

It appears the crackdown will continue and motorists are reminded never to drive a vehicle without t or insurance.
