Gardai seize drugs worth €3m and firearm and ammo

Gardaí from the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau supported by the Special Crime Task Force have seized a firearm along with large quantities of suspected controlled drugs during an operation in Kildare.

The discovery was made by Gardaí during a search of a house in the Sallins area on Saturday evening.

An assault rifle, ammunition and approximately €3m of suspected Heroin & Cocaine were recovered during the operation. 

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
