If you’re heading to Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co. Laois this weekend, you’re in luck.
Met Eireann reports that it will be a cracking weekend, but you would be wise to bring the wellies anyway for a wet Sunday.
Today will be a predominantly dry day with the best of the sunny spells at the start and at the end of the day. Tonight, temperatures will drop between six and nine degrees in the slack winds.
Saturday will have a chilly start with sunny spells in the morning gradually becoming hazier during the afternoon as cloud amounts increase.
There will be maximum temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees. Saturday night will be a bit wetter, with outbreaks of rain and gusty south to southeast winds will be mostly moderate to fresh, but strong at times in the coastal fringes.
Sunday will be warm, with temperatures of up to 21 degrees but will be humid, and mostly cloudy with scattered outbreaks of mainly light rain and drizzle. Feeling warm in any bright spells that develop.
