
Green light given for Buglers House single storey extension

BUGLERS Ballyboden House has been granted permission with An Bord Pleanala for the construction of a single storey extension to the rear of existing public house comprising additional bar and seating area.
Applicant Mary Bugler had lodged an appeal with ABP after South Dublin County Council refused permission but this has since been overturned.

The plans for Buglers on Ballyboden Road included enclosed smoking area, new ground floor w.c. and new rear entrance from the existing car park.
There is also a provision of a beer garden along the southern elevation of the existing public house, the construction of covered smoking area along the northern elevation of the existing public house and the erection of single storey storage unit (100sq.m) ancillary to the public house.
Provision of new vehicular entrance from rear carpark to serve storage unit, change of use of existing male bathroom to provide additional kitchen pace and all ancillary works necessary to facilitate the proposed development including boundary treatments and landscaping, are also in the plans.
