Greenhills’ Waterhouse Cup produces exciting contest

GREENHILLS outdoor bowling club ran off their recent annual Ray Waterhouse Memorial Cup competition.

The winning team of Michael Doyle, Harry Smith, Maura Moore and Michael Keaton were presented with the Ray Waterhouse Memorial Cup by Peggy Waterhouse.

Paul Kilcullen, Willy Harris, Joe Farrell and David Bergin also turned in a strong performance to emerge runners-up.

Next up for Greenhills Bowling will be the club’s AGM on Thursday, October 27 at 8pm in Greenhills Community Centre. New members are welcome to attend.

Following that, the Turkey Competition will take place on Sunday, November 27 before the presentation of trophies takes centre stage at the club’s annual Christmas Supper Dance on Saturday, December 10 in the Concert Hall in Greenhills Community Centre.
