The Tallaght quartet clocked 4:47.82 to claim gold, ahead of Banbridge ASC in second on 4:49.28 and Dolphin Swim Club in third on 4:51.13.

Fiona Weng also went on to win two individual titles, with the 13-year-old topping the podium in both the 100m butterfly and 200m butterfly.

In the former, Weng was immense, touching the wall 0.66 seconds quicker than second-placed Scarlett Wade from Portadown, with a time of 1:12.31.

In the 200m butterfly showpiece, Weng continued to impress with a 2:48.72 time to seize her third gold medal of the weekend.

Another of the relay team members, Elaine Zhang, also did well in her individual races, picking up a silver in the age 14 100m butterfly.

Meanwhile, Jason Siyuan Jia carded a silver-medal performance in the age 14 100m butterfly and Lucas Nian picked up a bronze in the age 13 1,500m free.
