I Will Wait: Ellyd releases new single

AFTER spending the last two years writing and producing her highly anticipated debut album, Dublin singer ELLYD, originally from Clondalkin but now living in Lucan, returns with her new single, ‘I Will Wait.’

The harmonious pop tune gives an exciting glimpse at what is to come from her album, ‘Tomorrow Be Kind,’ which is due for release later this year.

Speaking about the new single, Ellyd said the song is about love and patience.

She said, “I wrote the song while I was on a songwriting break in Portnoo, Donegal.

“The song is about having patience with someone you love and letting them know you will always be there for them.

“It’s the first track on the album and I think it gives a good taste of what’s to come.”

Ellyd, who has played some of the country’s biggest festivals and venues, including Electric Picnic, Indiependence, Vicar Street, and The Olympia, is excited for people to hear her new single, her first since 2022.

‘I Will Wait’ will be available on all digital music platforms.
