Investigation launched after reports man exposed himself to local schoolgirls

Three local schoolgirls were left shocked and frightened yesterday after a man exposed himself to them.

The alleged incident is believed to have happened in the Crumlin area while the girls were on their lunchbreak.

According to reports, a man aged in his 50s approached the schoolgirls and engaged in the lewd act.

Speaking with Echo.ie this morning, a Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí in Sundrive Road are investigating an alleged incident that occurred on 16th May, 2017 at approximately 1:30pm.

“No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.”
