Ireland debut for Templeogue pair

TEMPLEOGUE Basketball Club’s Emma Mullins and Ellen Ryan made their international debuts when helping the Ireland Under 15 women to a 46-82 point victory over Scotland in Edinburgh.

That match was the last in in a three-game series against their hosts with Ireland making it a clean sweep of wins.

Mullins opened the scoring for the visitors with a superb layup while Ryan emerged with seven points to her name along with three rebounds and as many steals.

There was more good news for the Templeogue club as Karol Ogonowski helped the DMBB Under 14 squad capture the Tomas Sola Tournament title in Barcelona.
