Irish craft retailer will create 12 jobs with new outlet in Liffey Valley
IRISH craft retailer Kilkenny Design is set to open an outlet at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in late September as it celebrates 60 years in business.
The opening of Kilkenny’s 18th store in Ireland will see the creation of 12 jobs, and the shop will sell a curated selection of products from renowned Irish designers across the fashion, homeware, jewellery, kids, beauty, and wellness categories.
The Liffey Valley store will also showcase Kilkenny’s own brand of traditional Aran sweaters and accessories, the Heritage Collection, and the company said it would also unveil innovative visual merchandising, immersive communications, and interactive ‘Meet the Maker’ experiences.
“The new store opening in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre signifies our commitment to promoting Irish design and craft,” said Evelyn Moynihan, CEO of Kilkenny Design.
“We are incredibly excited about our expansion plans, and we look forward to providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience that truly celebrates the beauty and creativity of our country.”
Denis O’Connell, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre director, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Kilkenny Design to Liffey Valley this September as the much-loved Irish brand proudly celebrates 60 years in business.
“Renowned for its exceptional range of Irish products, this latest store opening further strengthens our continued commitment to supporting home-grown Irish brands and retailers, and further expands our offering to our valued customers.”
